SCOTTeVEST Men’s RFID Travel Vest

The SCOTTeVEST RFID Men’s travel vest

Product Overview

Finally, someone has manufactured a practical and stylish vest for all the important tools and accessories that you need for your many day-to-day activities.

This very functional piece of travel clothing can carry and organize all your day-to-day necessities. There are different vest models and styles out there, however, there are none that seem to distribute the weight of the items that you need to carry around all day.

Its main feature, in my opinion, is in its RFID pocket. This pocket can carry your wallet, credit cards, and passport. This feature alone makes this vest a must for international travel. Preventing High-tech Skimmers from stealing your identity is surely worth the cost of this functional piece of clothing.

It features a patented Personal Area Network. This is a network of hidden conduits that you can use to connect wires to your devices while they are in your pocket.

With power banks and cables, you can keep your devices at full charge all day. No more tangled headphones- everything neat and organized.

This vest is made of lightweight, breathable poly fabric, that is Teflon® treated for water and stain resistance. It is machine washable.

Final Thoughts

This is a very practical piece of clothing that addresses the EDC issues of the modern man.

While the standard type of EDC bag can be built to carry all your necessities, this is a more office and city-friendly way to engage in the social environment without looking like a member of a SWAT team.

It has been conceived in the style of a construction vest. Its Weight Management System is specifically engineered to balance the weight of all your items across the entire garment so that your neck and upper back do not have to support all the load. In this way, you do not end up with a tired back and sore neck.

Some vests have jamming zippers and stitching that unravels. This is an acceptable reason to return the product for a new one. If this problem persists, I would not be able to recommend this product. the concept for this product is a good one, however, poor quality construction should not be accepted.

  1. I really like how professional, yet casual this travel vest is. Seems with all the pockets included in the vest, this could be a great option for businessmen and travelers. There’s nothing more convenient than having plenty of pockets all in the right places.

I can’t believe there’s even an area where you can connect wires for your smartphone or tablet. This could be especially useful for people who might be carrying around a portable charger or power bank with them. I think you did a great job outlining the important features of this vest as well as in summarizing its overall appearance. I should definitely bookmark this for later!

    • Hi, Peter,

It’s hard not to like lots of pockets, especially when they come in a stylish, trim fitting package like this.

I also like the wire connection features offered with it.

How do like the RFID pocket? I don’t imagine you have ever had your credit card information skimmed because you seem to have missed what I believe is its best feature. This is very useful for today’s air traveler, with all the credit card “skimmers” that lurk around airports.

As a matter of fact, card skimmers do not restrict their activities to airports only.

Thanks for stopping by, and have a look at the RFID pocket, and the extra ones that can be added to increase its security factor. Happy Trails.

      Paul
